Resource files and previews of the resource make up the most crutial part of your listing. Your resource files are what the buyer will download after purchasing your resource.

Your previews are displayed to potential buyers on your product listing page.

Previews

There are 3 types of previews which can display in your listing to give a shopper a better idea of what you're offering. Previews are a great way for shoppers to visualise the benefits of your resource and to make it more engaging.

Thumbnails

The first 'main' thumbnail is the one which will be displayed in product snippets such as on the home page, search results page and your store front.

  • Aspect Ratio: The aspect ratio for the image thumbnails should be 1:1, meaning the height and width of the image should be the same.

  • Resolution: We recommend a minimum resolution of 1080 pixels. Higher resolutions are acceptable as they will be scaled down accordingly, but the minimum ensures your image remains clear and sharp when viewed on various devices.

Video

The video you upload here will also be displayed in pages where your product features, including the home page, search results and your store front. When users hover their mouse over your product, your video will immediately play.

🌟 Here’s how a video can add value:

  1. Drive more sales: Videos provide a clearer understanding of your products, giving shoppers more confidence to buy.

  2. Build trust: Videos are the closest thing that online shoppers get to “try before you buy”. They can help to establish trust and also create a stronger connection between your shop and your customers.

  3. Enhance product understanding: Detailed visuals of your products in action educate customers more effectively, reducing disappointment and bad reviews.

Please follow these guidelines for best display for our video preview feature:

  • Aspect Ratio: For best results, the aspect ratio for the video previews should be 1:1, meaning the height and width of the video should be the same. This ensures that the video fills the square preview window without any cropping or stretching.

  • Resolution: We recommend a minimum resolution of 1080 pixels. Higher resolutions are acceptable as they will be scaled down accordingly, but the minimum ensures your video remains clear and sharp when viewed on various devices.

  • File Format: Common video file formats such as MP4 or MOV are preferred due to their broad compatibility and balance between quality and file size.

  • Duration: Keep the video concise. Typically, shorter videos of 5-15 seconds are more engaging for previews.

  • Content Considerations: Ensure that the main content or action in the video is centered to accommodate the square format, avoiding any important visual elements near the edges that might be missed in a square crop.

Preview

This is either a PDF file or Image that will open up in a popup when the user clicks the 'Show Preview' button when viewing your product.

Make sure it clearly highlights what the resource is for and contains no references back to other marketplaces other than TBS.
